The City of Barrie released it's Heritage Plan this month. As a life long Barrie resident I am pleased to see this plan and look forward to participating in efforts to protect and preserve both our cultural heritage and natural heritage. As a relatively young City we have struggled to preserve our heritage. As I have noted in my campaign material Honouring our Past is an investment in our future.
